Cool, they have Baha'i books too! And the King James version is comparable to the Dutch 'Statenvertaling'. King James gave the order to translate the Bible into English. He also wanted to help the Dutch but they refused..I guess they didn't want England to have too much influence or something. Anyway, the translation is called King James Version because it was King James' order.

well, like the dutch 'statenvertalng', KJ is the oldest english bible translation, and I was seeking for one of the newest ones. What thread did you talk about, burbot, I couldn't find anuthing, could you show me? Anyone got a recent english bibletranslation on the internet?

yes I found more than enough: http://bible.com/bible_read.html but I don't have the problem of finding an easy translation anymore, but another problem: which one to use? AAAH there's like 20 english translations!
my fav is NIV youth bible,nice n simple no long la de la ye onlde english!flippin ek! i also like the aplified version that gr8! and also the new king james version

no, i want one for a grad present and im not really a christian ( i don't beleive in origional sin so i cant beleive He took all of my sins with Him), buit i want one, well that and a Bahavaghad-Gita...but i think its a good one....id ssay get him a nice hard cover one though...

yeh i will!..i also thought it was a good present to get him as it signifies that i have and will be there as a support to him in his Christian life. I was there when he became a Christian, i'm with him now and i hope to be with him in the future. Roly.xxx
I think it's really cool to give someone a Bible! I'll get one from school when I graduate, an English one (i'm hoping for a KJV). But I already have three Dutch ones . And I got a Bhagavad Gita for Santa Claus!
