my father taught me how to make moonshine, and from what i've learned it can make you go blind from methyl alcohol and isporol alcohol. yeah thats the heads and tails. they say you should throw out the first and last 1000ml
a simple pot still is best. take your yeast and your sugar and let it ferment the stronger the better, you may wanna add yeast and sugar every few days for two to 3 weeks
now you place it in you pot that is pressure sealed with a copper pipe out the top
heat it to about between 174 and 211 degrees under 174 alcohol wont evap and 211 water will evap to.
the vapor runs through the pipe down through the thumper pot which cools the pipe and out the bottom comes moonshine clear pure and deadly

Also I've seen some liquor stores selling it in quart mason jars with fruit inside and a pretty label on the front.... idk what the story is with that. Anyone tried it?

I have a friend with a still--he makes really good ,mellow pomegranite whiskey. It's a beautiful red color. Sipping stuff that still gets you twisted. I've told him he should go legal and sell it. It's that good. And he gives it to me FREE!!

If all goes as planned, that may happen in the next year. :cheers2:

Aiming for a 100x10 mile range around Florence in an ideal universe. (100 N or S, 10 inland)

And if I'd walk a mile for a Camel, you just wait and see what I'd do for a shot of Pomegranate Homebrew,,, wait a minute,,, that didn't sound quite right,,, lol

Alrighty then. Next time I go south--I'll see if I can get a gallon! Florence is straight across from me.
