I'm laying on my bed and watch the moon. Who else can see the moon?

Can't see it right now but last sunday night when I was cycling back to my parents house it was shining really bright and full! Also saw a shitload of stars which I can't see here in the city. So great you just have to stop and watch for a minute :sifone:

last sunday the moon was at its nearest position to earth, so it looks very big and bright. I like it. There's nothing like a big fat summer full moon.

Glad it wasn't cloudy on my way back, it was quite a sight. It rained and was cloudy a lot earlier When the nightsky is really clear you can often spot the milky way itself too.

I envy you . I live on a hill above the city. And besides the brightest stars and the moon all I can see from my home is the dust and the light pollution from the city below me. It gets better if I go out into the woods. But there are alway the cities near the river Rhine with their bright lights.

I don't live there anymore. I'm only there sunday evenings and mondays. But technically I can be out of the city in a short while.

Anyway, there's always some light pollution in the countryside here as well! Just not a lot if you get far enough from a village. And it's all flat in the low lands so we have a lot of sky

yes the earth has one. yes it is currently large in the sky. and accompaniee by the anual meteor shower.
