hello; i had to put an ice pack on my brain for a few...
so wrat, im suprised that someone who has so much experience like yourself, what with living on the street, im suprised that you dont see the facade that is a currency system.
and my comments on the "anarchy" situation
see i see it right now as anarchy, everyone is just buying into government like the story of the tooth fairy. but as far as the crimes go, i do like the court idea as a stepping stone to ultimate true personal responsability. for me, lets take the rape situation, for one thing my 12 year old daughter wouldnt be walking anywhere alone, next, if this did happen, i would probably put a bullet in the man's face. now this wouldnt be some silly revenge thing, i would see it more like fixing a busted circuit. oh, so now you're the judge, kevin? yes. whoever rapes my daughter is asking to be taken out of this human body we've been blessed with. i'd probably not feel to good about it, but id dispose of his mind, then his body, then probably meditate in solitude for the rest of the day and another. its a painful responsability that good men must take up to protect people from the bad men, the thin line of good and evil.
but im defenetly for the court system with creative punishments, there would be no written sentences, each crime is different so therefore you must take every situation as new and not hand out the same sentences.
as far as scarcity goes im positive there is enough to go around for all who wants whatever. we can recycle all the old tvs and melt them down to build the new ones, same with cars (though here i dont picture there to be cars as we know them).
I'd be all for mansions, i'd help whoever build it. me, personally, i'd set myself up in a treehouse, ewok style like return of the jedi.

Haha, yeah. I'd get a genetic engineer to design me a tree that grew in the shape of a house. So it got bigger as time went by. That would be cool.

About that bullet in the face thing... what if you got the wrong guy? Or even if you knew the guy was guilty but his family didn't think so. Then the guy's family would shoot you and your family would shoot them and their extended family would shoot your family. You need an objectivity on this that a father of a 12 yo rape victim simply wouldn't have.

I hate the idea of not being able to walk alone. It's not fair. A generation or two ago (at least in New Zealand, where my family was a generation or two ago) there was virtually no concept of this kind of fear. People didn't think about the possibility of getting mugged or raped or murdered or whatever cos it hardly ever happened. In this sense at least a step backwards would be a good thing. Would getting rid of money help this? I certainly think so.

    goddammit youre right
id probably keep close watch, or recruit the help of someone who cared about justice to help me spy on this guy, and id get evidence of repeat offenses but by that time the right to kill would probably have faded, since it is a spur of the moment thing.
i dont like the idea of prison though, i like exile. just send him off, if he doesnt leave, hed better defend himself when the townsfolk mob come to beat him to death. and if he did leave and settled somewhere else and did the same thing,
    well,
hed be in the media so everyone would know
the townsfolk of the rapists' next destination would probably be on the look out, and hed get caught eventually
but yeah those are very good points. im almost too tired to try and think of something else, this has intellectually drained me.

check that out though, theres probably not too many people down in NZ.
I have a feeling that overcrowding and over population are also causes in these sorts of crimes.

I dont see it as a fascade though any more then any of the the other man made constructs such as time..I see it as easier then the system your proposing.simply because of the law of supply and demand.even if money was removed there would still be supply and demand..people will always have ideas about the way things should be done and unless everone is in total agreement all the time I dont think currency is going away..more later.....

true, haha yes time is a construct, sort of, because its obvious when it goes by, so i wouldnt see that as fake as the value of money or government...
and supply and demand can be worked out, i mean just picture it like it is now...
    ...but without the money...

Well, what if, instead of demand sending prices up, it sent production up? After all, without money, you're gonna have to contribute something if you want anything, see what I mean? You want a tv (frexample), if there's none at your local depot you would have to go to a factory and get one. If they didn't have any spare you would have to work at the factory for a bit. Hence, supply would increase. If you look up tv's on the big map on your website and you see a big concentration of blobs in one place meaning people want tv's, you might want to bring a truckful of them there from the factory, or if it's a really big concentration, you might want to start building a tv factory there. It's really a very easy life.

It's actually quite perverted for demand to send prices up instead of production.

Okay, but there'd have to be human involvement at some point. You'd have to set the machines up, programme them, make them more efficient, whatever. But yeah, fuck the production line.

yeah, totally, with programs simple enough to get the job done and allow the machines to run themselves, with easy instructions on some sticker or some crap that explains how to fix it, so everyone knows whats up incase it breaks down.

it would be funny if it wasnt true and very scary..I dont eat there..and I dont frequent restuarants very much (im sorta phobiac about strangers preparing my food)..but do you really want people making very little money (due to lack of or need for training) making food for you..and if the practice spread to better quality restuarants...........
