    materials:
1 candle mold (3" wide or more)
    parafin or beeswax
    appropriate wick
    green candle dye
    a few small-denomination coins

    Instructions:
Clean coins in a little vinegar if needed, and rinse well. Melt wax, dying it the appropriate shade of green you wish. Fill the mold 1/4, and let harden. Fill the next quarter of the mold with melted wax, and drop one or two coins to harden into this layer of wax. Repeat with third quarter. Fill the balance of the mold with wax and let harden.

(this would look esp. cool if each layer was made in a slightly different layer of green!)
