AHHH!! I can hardly sit still!!

Only 1 more day! I'm leaving tomorrow morning! I can't wait to meet you guys!

 

yep...looks like I am leaving myself tomorrow early AM as well...trying to catch the late night thursday night sh1t...see some of you there.

 

yes!!!! i'm going. unforunately i cant go until saturday night, but i'll still see the night show, and sunday's show. but it's still good. hey we should all hook up and do a hipforums thing. have a little hipforums smoke out and shit.

The 74 bridge has been closed...take 474, and meet back up with 29...I was just about to leave, and noticed this myself....!

 

Nah, i was in shorewood west of joliet.....my car had 3000 dollars worth of damage..so minus the 500 dollar deductable i get 2500 and get to keep my car...i'm pleased..

yeah toker don't forget to meet up w/ us at groovatron..i'm sooooo excited..

I just got back from summercamp.....oh and what a trip it was......, the shows were pretty good, groovatron was good, umphrees was just way too much ( too much psychedelia) Moe was pretty fun, but the people really made the show, it was all good, the drugs and music were all plentyfull so i was happy.

 

and when i said drugs where plenty full, i found a bag of mushies and a bag of weed, i made my life

 

just got home. man that was a hell of a weekend. unfortunately the last show my van will see i think. its somewhere on rt 29. on the bright side, i got a new bowl and shroomed my ass off during moe's last show.

i had a good time..i can tell u what though..that was probably my last festival that i will camp at....

toker i seen u sunday morning..and i really wanted to introduce myself..but i had just got up and i was on my way to the pottys and i was still picking crustys out of my eyes..hehe so i just kept walking...

anyhow...i wasn't real impressed w/ groovatrons show..i felt like they were trying to play rock stars and they were way way too showy for me...i've seen them in tiny bars w/ like ten people there and they played a way better show..i dunno..i just wasn't really feeling it....

moe was amazing....as well as particle....and keller was pretty kewl too..i kinda missed all the toys though...

i missed umphreys and m.f. and spearhead.. i was napping

that was the most awful festival I have ever been to. During the main moe. show on Sat. night, some kid was helicoptered out for a heroin OD. I still can't get a hold of my friend who was supposed to be there. It could VERY possibly be him.

So many kids got arrested. There were at least 25 undercover cops. Some even had dreads. It blows my mind to think that that many cops are out looking for these kids. With all the busts, a lot of kids who do shows to make money ended up stealing and fighting. There was paranoia and fear everywhere.

I have never walked out of a moe. concert, but after the ambulance came through the crowd, a bevy of cops on golf carts came screaming after it, knocking people out of the way, and the helicopter lading and taking off behind the stage, it was way too much for me to handle.

 

That sucks. I cant believe undercover cops with dreads. Thats crazy! Its sad that you pay all that money to party and cops come in there and bust it up.

 

I even ended up in cuffs because I was NEXT to a girl who was selling drugs.

 

Thats just gay...sorry it was such a negative experience for ya...

 

At least I learned something. I won't do that again any time soon.

Can you imagine seeing all that on a head full of LSD?! I ran and hid in my car for 6 hours.

 

I bet, but I would love to get you into a pair of handcuffs...

 

whatever, alot of ppl got busted, yes. That saturday night moe. show though I will say was seriously one of the best that I have seen, and that means a fair amount coming from me. All in all, I had a great time, and have already ordered my tickets for portland...hehe

fuck that shit, dude. How could you enjoy the show after seeing the ambulance, the helicopter, and all those pigs on golf carts screaming and running into people on the left side of stage?

moe. almost stopped. Admit it. Even THEY were getting distracted and pissed. I'm glad they picked up the show and got the attention of everyone who didn't give a shit, but a LOT of people not only walked out of the show, but left completely.

yeah, that was a REALLY successful show.

look, I'm impressed that they went on. They did a good job. I know it's not their fault and there's nothing anyone can do to stop stuff like this from happening.

It's just not worth it to me anymore. I love the music, but I can't watch so many people in the family suffer for it. Most of the fans there were all about money and business anyway. I can't be around people who are so fake.

I certainly don't expect anyone to agree with me, but at least respect where I'm coming from and try to understand. Someone died. That's someone's friend, that's someone's family member. No one even seemed to care. They kept dancing. It made me really sad.
