moe. summercamp in IL

i got the inside scoop for ya'll....the only 2 bands confirmed as of now..are groovatron and moe.....now..i know that they are working on trying to get a very amazing person to play...but i can't tell you who..because it's only a possiblity..but if it happens...everyone will shit their pants..

speacking of which, what I had wanted to inquire about.

I live in upstate NY, chicago is 12 hours away or so.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in splitting a hotel room in ohio, (about half way in between) thursday night?

As far as lineup goes....

moe. (only 2 nights), umphrees, keller, and either sci, or trey is going to be the other major headliner most likely.

Personally, I could do without sci and or trey, otherwise this fest is going to blow up

 

I think SCI would be a better choice for Scamp. Although that might mean more people at the festival, there would not be as many as if Trey were playing. Additionally, I think FOCers bring a mostly kind, family vibe along with them that would be good for the festival. Sure there are some bad apples in the cheese community, but not as many as I would expect to see at a Trey show. That being said, I'm still going to Summer Camp no matter what. Let's try to organize a hipforums meetup.

 

well i guess everyone knows my inside secrests about sci and trey now! the word is out! jay was working on getting trey..i'd rather have him than sci...but that's just my opinion..

the fest cannot blow up because they only allow 8,000 peeps in...

 

if SCI plays... im THERE (if i save my money).. only 6 hours!!

and becknude... wow.. thats crazy... when i was 14 i wanted to go to shows! lol believe me, when you go to your first fest or w/e, its addicting as heck...

me personally, it sucks cause im 16, but i dont have my license yet, and although my parents are super cool, they wouldnt let me just GO to a fest or show by myself, so it sucks, but ill be 18 soon...

then the party starts!

 

this is going to be the same f*cking shit as roseland ballroom show, in early february...wooks everywhere get locked out cause of trey presence, heh

Hey Summer camp is gonna be GREAT. I mean come on MOE. Umphrees magee and keller......ive seen em all but i want to see them at summercamp.... if theres anyone from the elgin area willin to provide a ride............or someone that would drive through that area..........Just wonderin in case my ride jumps out....

ha ha! I sure hope not! that was awful. Last year we went in an RV and thought we could take it. But when it got bad, it was BAD!! Trying to drive around flying tents to get out of the park and shit. Running hippies everywhere soaked to the bone. It was like a bad movie!

hopefully it won't rain at ALL this year. that park's dirt smells like downright shit when it;s wet. I think it was mixed with tons of fertilizer. ew.
