I'm a huge fan. Very, very funny with outstanding writing and a terrific cast. It's one of the very few must-see-tv shows on my list.
i never quite liked modern family. i don't why, but i just can't bring myself to watch that series. i get turned off by that Latina woman 'Gloria' whenever they show her, and then i just turn off the TV or leave the room if somebody else is watching it.
super cliched, i really don't understand why it's so beloved by the critics. i do watch it, but it's only just good enough to watch, not what i would actually consider good. there are a couple real hotties in the cast.
sofia plays gloria, right? she's just ok to me too. would probably look better but her character is just so awful it's a bit of a turn off. the woman that plays claire (although she seems to have gotten a little too skinny lately) and the one that plays her oldest daughter were who i was referring to.
I do like Claire. Claire and phil are actually my favorite couple. I don't mind her skinny either. I don't think that the daughter is so pretty but maybe in a different role i might. Dylan is a cutie though lol....till he speaks.(like most boys)
i agree with this. i would probably like the show a lot more if it was just about their household and the other two weren't involved.
technically it's for another place, but threads do have a way of going off topic here. my favorite sitcom that's currently airing is community, although nbc is pretty much doing everything they can to get it canceled so i'm sure it won't be around much longer. which may be a good thing, since last i heard they had fired the guy who pretty much created it; without him involved i'm not sure that it will be that good anyway.
are you watching it in order? it's the kind of show that you really should if possible. if so, i'll warn you that season 3 isn't as good as season 2, but then almost nothing is as good as season 2. 3 is still better than anything else i know of that's out now.
I have so many sitcoms i love! Yes I am watching this in order. Trying to finish season 2 today and then gonna stop and find something else to watch for the rest of my evening.
On the last episode titled "My Hero" that aired on May 8th 2013 there was a song playing at the end when they were all roller skating and Manny was doing a voice over. Does anyone know what song that was? If you didn't see the episode then you can see it on hulu.com and the song starts playing around the 19:40 mark. If anyone knows what song this is I will be forever grateful! It sounds like Open Arms but I know it's not. I even tried using my Sound Hound app but since there was a voice over it wouldn't work
