I think something similar, Kharakov...only the OPPOSITE.

"God is made in Man's imagination."

Antichrists are ass backwards, after all.

Technically, we exist in God's imagination and when our imagination is fully formed, God exists within it.

Not all of God... just what God wants us to know about God exists within it...

I like Molly the Hippy because she is what Christians actually are in their natural, genuine state, without trying to masqerade her bullshit with pseudo logic and so on.

    What?

You're stereotyping. That's like me saying "I like when men act like pigs and cheat on their wives because it really shows them in their natural state,...after all, they just wanna spread their seed, and they're just putting on a facade of morality when they get involved in a monogamous relationship."

Yea..... so, I'm still confused. So you just are openly admitting that you stereotype people?

i dont deny it. stereotyping is an invaluable heuristic. i try to not to make a habit of it, without good reason or motivation though.

my point was that molly the hippy is silly and takes biblical literalism and adds a 'look-at-me-i'm-a-badass' flair that makes it even less appealing

Yup. I agree. I'm thankful Molly the Hippy is just a caricature, but that's not really satisfying since I have met, (or mainly see on tv,) many Christians that act like this. Hell, people that make a literal law out of something are everywhere...it doesn't have to be religion.

So I just have hope for the people who attempt to draw positive, life-giving principles from Scripture, books, the media, the trees....whatever they're getting inspiration from.

how do u fix the schools molly? simple, get rid of the idiotic right wing christian republicans, keep prayer out of schools, but offer an elective course, that your not required to take uness u want, called "religion aewwareness" that only teaches the basic principles of every religion
but the most important thing is, veberse the budget..take alll the money now going to the military & give it to education, & all the money going to education & give it to the military
not only would we fix the schoo system, wed be way too smart to start wars, & even if somehow we did we'd be fighting with sticks & stones & at most wed hve a few concussions
but our good christian leaders in theyre infentile wisdom decided that instead of minimumizing violence its instead better to find new ways to kill & obliterate more & more of "gods children"

if your god does exist..trust me, hes plenty pissed at you..

imo tho..we should abolish both churches & schools & leave it to familes to teach what they want as wthey see fit..which includes finding your own understanding of god or non-god.. without having it forced down your throught

"accept jesus or you wont graduate & will be doomed to slavry in the salt mines & cast out from society"
that would be the result of allowing the state to regulate a single acceptable belief to be taught in the schools

sorry if i wasall over the place there

Say G-d's name in prayer whether they want it or not, because if you're not allowed to,
you can always point to the 'freedom of religion' laws.

They hand out condoms in schools, talk about sex and masturbation as well?!
    wow...not even Germany's that bad...

But evolution is taught as a fact rather than a theory there...

    so that'd even it out.

But that thing with the condoms...that's disgusting.
What do they teach in the schools of america concerning sex?

    I missed that year.

The past 4 or so years ive been in public highschool, theyve never handed out condoms. in our 'life management' class they never described the mechanics of sex, rather the biology, and risk of stds and hiv/aids.

as i have been paying into the educational system since i was 16, i oppose handing out condoms more as a fiscal allocation dispute rather than a moral one. if you feel you are old enough and responsbile enough to have sex you can buy your own fucking condoms and maybe we can pay the teachers more so they do a better job actually teaching.

No one stopped prayer in schools. It has been proven Unconstitutional for the State (school) to encourage students in religious activity inside the school facility and on the school grounds.

Discussion of safe sex is not "bad". It is educational and applicable to reality unlike "abstinence only" education.

Evolution is scientific and there are volumes of substantial evidence to support this "theory". There is ZERO evidence to support that an invisible man in the sky "created" all this--just a bunch of vague assumptions, unsolved mysteries and gobbledygook.
