There is a HUGE divide between those with Aztec DNA and Spanish DNA in Mexico. They look the same to white people but among the people the Spanish think they are better. Historically they come from money and power and that passes though families.

So we can name one example of "European" racism in Central America.

Probably because you seemed very quick to point out race. Maybe people took it a different way than you meant.

Thats total bullshit. DNA mapping in Mexico reveals they have a mix of Indonesian, Philiipino and Persian/ Jewish from the way Spanish handled Catholic converts in the 1500s, as well as Mayan and European

Put on the kettle and smoke some pot. This thread isn't worth the headache. Nobody is going to change their opinion, especially this far into the thread.

Yet came back, so what does that say about me?

While we are kind of on the subject

Israel Folau a rugby player near retirement who got sacked for posting a meme on twiitter saying drunks, liars and gays are going to hell. Just got his settlement. Went for $14 million, Rugby boss said rumours of $8 million are grossly inaccurate, which means he probably got 2 or 3 million

So just played everyone and got Rugby Australia to give him a defacto redundancy anyway

This is nothing new. This has been going on for decades. Whites violence against blacks, blacks on whites, blacks on blacks, etc. Why is it such a big deal now?

Meh, guy is a little too pretty, especially for a Rugby player, so in part, probably just fed up with getting hit on by gay guys all the time for the past couple decades. That part the public never sees

The worst I can say about Americans in general is that they are too distracted by their things that they aren't aware of the major problems that are about to bite them in the ass.

Well, apparently some folks have all the money in the world to “buy” their children into these opportunities and the celebrities who were recently caught doing this are getting off with lighter bullshit sentences. And because they bought their children’s way into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or wherever, that took away an opportunity from someone who worked hard for it and deserved it.

  14. Hold the phone a second now. Consider the environment. People in the US have to navigate the system we have here, so our priorities are wide and varied. During the Cold War, with the constant threat of being vaporized before you could even realize it was happening, people's priorities shifted dramatically from that of "The Greatest Generation". Then the wall came down and we had a weird kind of peace, then we got 9/11 and learned that our government was keeping us in the dark since well before Carter.

Most of us are very aware of major problems about to bite us in the ass. For example, I doubt I'll see a dime of Social Security, and I'm not alone. After watching pensions go bankrupt for the last 4 decades, replaced by 401K plans that barely cost the employers dick, Americans are well aware of how the world is closing in on them. Regardless of color or what have you. Look at the damage done by the unrestricted, Old West environment of student loans for the last 25 years. Colleges have more money, and teach less.

As far as "things" go, I have seen that all over the world. When I was in North Africa one of the managers had a Mercedes, with California plates. He was very proud of that car and kept it spotless. And he didn't mind telling about how he bought it after it was unloaded from a cargo carrier. I always wonder if the former owner actually thinks they'll see it again. I guess it could happen, if I post the pics online!

Personally, I outgrew most of my interest in "things". I was into cars since I started driving at 14. But after getting married and reproducing, I no longer saw cars as works of functional art and speed. Instead I weighed them for practicality, durability and fuel economy. Right now I drive a smaller domestic SUV with AWD, a faded hood and a fuel-wasting, but ass-kicking V6 engine. It blends in well and I can haul ass on small roads and snake my way to work whilst being nearly transparent to the oinkers. I also don't waste a dime on athletic bullshit (welllll, dog racing every so often).

I don't CARE which team is headed for the playoffs. I do like to watch the games, especially the really good plays (like a recent Auburn kick return), but I owe no allegiance to any of them. They're paid gladiators, who aren't allowed to kill each other. Though some are allowed to kill their career (I really wanted to see Kappernick play). Oh well.

Agreed, but my point is this is nothing new, yet it has become a political agenda and a bunch of finger pointing.
