True. But violence and what's considered crime is far less subjective and connected to morality.

 

No race is inferior to another, and genetics don't have zero influence over crime statistics. Poverty, broken families, fatherless homes and single mothers working full time cause children to have a lack of a full time role model in their life. They don't have a direction in life, so they turn to a life of crime. By joining gangs, they feel a sense of purpose, inclusiveity, and community. Fatherlessness in the black community is 74%, which is 50% higher than it was in 1960. This is a big contributor to crime rates. Not genes.

The only argument you can make about inferior and superior genes in different races are biological and scientific. It's already been mentioned that sickle cell anemia is more predominant in blacks. Asians have a much lower alcohol tolerance than other races. Whites are more prone to sunburn and skin cancer. Blacks are more prone to asthma. Etc, etc.

 

I agree, the whole "Americans Care" line is promotional bullshit designed to build false pride so that Americans will want to live up to the claim, by feeding the tax machine. Then the highly capable, honest and patriotic Government-Americans distribute that money as charitable aid, in the name of the American people (it's on the tape that seals the boxes). It's a way to buy the sentiment on paper, even though most Americans are only looking out for number one and pay only as much in taxes as they absolutely must; zero altruism. Even the churches in the US are measured by how massive they can become. How many "souls" (wallets) they can "save" (harvest).

So lets end this lie and stop giving away money we can use here to clean the streets of San Francisco so my Rice A Roni can taste normal again!

I see this now, I fall into it sometimes with using cool way too often and in too many different contexts within the same message.

And to think, I took a course in Structured Technical English to avoid doing that very thing. Maybe there really is a rebel gene and it affects more than aggression and focusing on counter points. Perhaps other elements of the psyche rebel as well. I HATED learning STE, but I was forced to because it translated better. As I reread this, it absolutely violates every law of the way it should have been written. What a bastard my other side can be!

Ok, so... In California a person's "intentions" when they commit a crime are valid important aspects of booking them or sentencing them or whatever. So, if I were the arresting officer and I knew that those statements had been made - with white mf'er and all that - I would be definitely citing the offenders with a hate crime. Their defense attorneys - knowing full well that this adds years to a jail sentence - would be fighting to try and get that dropped to assault. Also, if they used weapons it would be harder to dismiss as simple assault.

I think it's a hate crime. The people should be prosecuted as such. But I don't like the idea that we make an example of this particular hate crime. Because it involves people of color, I believe that it is a touchy subject, especially in the media. How you represent this could easily be interpreted as very malicious.

I think that it's possible that the people that did that only said those things because that was what came to mind. They were ruthless thugs, no doubt. But what if they aren't typically hateful and they're charged with a hate crime anyway?

Hate Crimes have never been on my radar but many crimes usually have varying degrees of punishment based on if it's a first incident or repeat offender.

 

Details matter. If it can be determined why they did it, it will also become clear if hate crime is the most adequate description or not.
If the criminal offence was mainly about the verbal insults the offenders likely have bad luck, since yelling 'white mf' indicates insulting/trying to offend by race, which is racial/ethnic discrimination and a punishable offence.. If it's mainly about getting them violently out of a black club other aspects have to be looked at. Seems if i look at the OP money had something to do with it too. Like, how dares this rich upper class woman act like she owns this place too. So more of a class thing. I'm not saying it is btw, it could very well be a hate crime. But that should be looked into. Whereas a verbal 'hate crime' (sounds kind of shitty though. Bit exaggerated for a verbal insult) is more clear. But not as bad of course as beating someone up (no matter if it's because of their ethnicity or social class)

 

If one has trouble controlling what comes out of their mouth they're more prone to getting judged for committing hate crimes, no matter what their actual motivation was.

 

Maybe due to sunburns whites are more prone to wear white hoods and chant racial epithets and due to asthma blacks are more prone to act violently because of shortness of breath.

 

Maybe we're originally a slave species created by extraterrestrials because ancient mythology can be interpreted like that.
