Friday I was at my property that I am getting ready to build a house on grading my house pad. I had my son and grandson with me helping out. Being where it is in a wooded area it’s a popular place for people to go for a walk. A woman walked by with a couple of dogs and stopped and chatted for a few minutes and I learned she was house sitting for a friend in the area. We both enjoyed the conversation and she went on her way and I continued working. The next day she walked up the canyon again but this time wearing a tank top despite apparently being cold revealing a very nice chest. She made eye contact with me and said hello as I was working with my grandson. I wasn’t in a position to get away and talk with her some more despite wanting to. The day before had left me with a courtesy. Have any of you had those moments when you were presented with a possible connection that because of circumstances you had to watch evaporate?
Sadly, I've had so many opportunities to connect with someone and had to watch it not happen; wrong place, wrong time, wrong everything and we both knew that something had to happen, but it wasn't going to. Nothing can be done about these things and trying to hook up at another time or place doesn't work. It's either in that moment or not at all.
