Why is it that anything that encourages heterosexuality has to be defined as objectification or patriarchal oppression?
Not everything but events that are only about female beauty are out of fashion. Women are 51% of the population it's democracy.
I guess if the miss america contestants were slave labor or something, you might have a case. They didn't take a vote for this though.
I’m guessing that could be their reason for banning bikinis. Seeing that this is following the #metoo movement publicity. I never said anything about patriarchy.
The problem I have is with equating any heterosexual interaction in which females are not explicitly in positions of power as inherently objectifying or oppressive
Are you serious? I was just on there right before I came to this thread. When and why are they turning it off?
like it switches to that new version automatic when you open the link anyways. dude thinks all the people like that new mod. its fucking shit and the the link to the closing out is covered with comments. that the new xham sucks. and it does, I hate navigating thru it. and the photo gallery slideshow wont play full screen , its all tiny within the browser. only way to see full view of pictures is to click and view. vids play ok but the photo gallery and contents from friends is goofy. i hate it.
You're right, it is kind of busy with senseless shit. Whatever happened to people changing or upgrading things to be better, not more annoying? I can't stand the game advertisements before most of the videos play, I want to get straight to the damn videos.
Just out of curiosity, how many guys here complaining about this have ever actually watched Miss America? Anybody? Bueller?
i've definitely never watched it, but then i wasn't really complaining either. i just pointed out that it's probably a poor business decision.
