I've been dealing with depression for some years now. It's gotten really bad, psychotic bad, several times. Then it recently got really good. But now I'm in a slump right now. Summer blues, it seems. I'm sleeping so much and just feeling bored and dissatisfied. I know all the things that can help. I skipped my therapist appointment today. I didn't feel like going. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. Misery loves company.. Blah

Your therapist doesn't mind if you skip appointments?

A few years ago, I was seeing an ADHD specialist, and he had a policy where if appointments were missed/cancelled, then he wouldn't reschedule them. So it forced me to go, even when I didn't feel like it.

I hope you feel better soon, Rainy. Here is a link of some happy mood enhancers. I have tried St. John's Wort, and it really works.....a natural happy remedy.....I am also a big believer in food and mood......I started taking Braggs vinegar again before I go to bed, and do wake up happier.....so many additives and things that make natural food unnatural these days. It is no wonder people are getting more depressed than ever.
