US Air Force sergeant charged in Boogaloo Bois murder



"A US Air Force sergeant with links to the far-right Boogaloo Bois movement has been charged with the murder of a federal security officer in California, the FBI says.

Steven Carrillo is accused of killing David Patrick Underwood outside the courthouse in Oakland during Black Lives Matter protests last month.

He was already charged with the murder of another officer eight days later.

Damon Gutzwiller was killed in an ambush near Santa Cruz on 6 June.

Mr Carrillo, who is stationed at Travis air force base, was arrested during a subsequent confrontation.

He appears to have used his own blood to write various phrases on the bonnet of a car he stole, the FBI said, including "boog" and "stop the duopoly".

"Boogaloo" is a term used by extremists to reference a violent uprising or impending civil war in the US, the FBI said."

Atlanta Police officer who killed Rayshard Brooks charged with felony murder

The Atlanta Police officer who shot and killed Rayshard Brooks at a Wendy's parking lot last week was charged with felony murder, and the other officer on scene was charged with aggravated assault, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced Wednesday.

The decision comes just five days after Brooks was shot twice in the back in Atlanta during an attempted arrest. Officer Garrett Rolfe, who shot at Brooks three times, has already been fired, and officer Devin Brosnan, who was also on scene, has been put on administrative duty.

After shooting Brooks, Rolfe said "I got him" and kicked him, and Brosnan then stood on Brooks' shoulder, Howard said. The officers did not provide medical aid to Brooks for over two minutes after shooting him, Howard said.

Their demeanor after the shooting "did not reflect any fear or danger of Mr. Brooks, but reflected other kinds of emotions," Howard said.

 

I just heard that news report. I honestly don't believe the officer's life was in danger. Brooks was running away and was shot in the back. That's murder. I suppose nobody is going to mention that several members of the NYPD were sickened and hospitalized after drinking milkshakes from The Shake Shack. The substance found in the shakes was rumored to be a bleach solution. Very nasty situations all around.

There is everyones feelings, and there is what is applicable by the law, DAs will lay charges they think will be able to get a conviction, Floyd case they will be able to get a murder conviction.

Brooks, even a manslaughter charge will just be to appease the public until tensions calm down and will later be dropped. Dude shot a tazer at police, they wont get a conviction
