Fox News Used Digitally Altered Photos in Coverage of Seattle Protests and ‘Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone’

Fox News has repeatedly published digitally altered photographs as part of a series of stories about protests on Seattle’s Capitol Hill that aired June 12.

The misleading images were first discovered by the Seattle Times, which raised the issue to Fox News.

One of the altered images used by Fox News shows a civilian standing outside a demolished storefront with a military assault rifle. The Seattle Times reports the image is not one photograph but a “mashup” of several photos from different days and different photographers — created by layering images from riots in downtown Seattle on May 30 under a Getty Images photo of a man with a gun. Fox News also published an alternate version of this image, where the armed man appeared to stand in front of a sign that said, “You are now entering Free Cap Hill.”

They always do this but they know the damage is done. It's been shared enough times and of course the fake media after seeing the truth has come down on Fox. But the real patriots will know. Same idea with Facebook. These people live in an alternate reality and they demand to have their fears made real.

Even if this was true in the way Fox claims are they not admitting how weak they are? I mean the 2nd amendment is still doing fine in Seattle and despite that all these weak people who can't even pick which bathroom to use and who hate America can dominate the police and locals. It kind of speaks to how small the right wing movement must be I think.

They had 100 people wanting a haircut. Their rivals have thousands of people all over the world every day in the streets.

MAAD is a hate group that has a vested interest in strong DUI laws. It's not really about what it started as. It's a business and the customer is the drunk driver. They have far too much personal biases and investment in the government to be considered neutral.

 

You'd be lucky if two million people watch CNN a day or Fox. Barely 1% of your population

The vast majority if the population would want a proper police force to feel safe

For what it's worth I don't think that defund is the right word. The money should be limited. Give them money for what the really need not military style equipment and M-16 rifles.

 

Both definitely gets more viewers than that. But the "liberal" stations often have viewers who get the info other ways and their numbers seem lower than they are. Fox has older viewers who still pay for cable. A lot of people under 40 don't do that anymore AKA people more likely to vote Democrat. You can't really look at TV viewership for social issues anymore.

If it's not a big issue why are people all the way over in Europe now getting angry at their police? They dumped statues in England into the river. They are angry in Belgium. It seems more like it's a massive social movement that has transcended America.

And 10,000 in Belgium is 0.08% of their population

And that's assuming 1/2 of them just didn't hijack the BLM movement just to get out of the lockdown, get out of the house and socialise

 

Large enough for other people who have have other political goals in the US to see an opportunity. Why would Europe care if it's not important? A lot of things that go on in America only happen there. Politically or socially it's just something to read about. Same thing in other countries. America is doing some house cleaning.

I have a cousin who drove drunk, killed a woman, she had a three year old. He received two years probation. It was not enough. Not even forced into rehab. Nothing. He had addiction problems, I think he should have gotten more and that probation didn’t stop him.

Medical examiner rules Rayshard Brooks’ death a homicide from two gunshot wounds in the back

Rayshard Brooks, the 27-year-old man from Atlanta whose fatal encounter with police officers has fueled ongoing protests against racism and police brutality, was killed by two gunshot wounds to the back, the Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled on Sunday. His manner of death is considered to be a homicide,

Brooks was killed outside a Wendy’s on Friday night after he fell asleep in the restaurant’s drive-through. According to video of the confrontation, Brooks struggled with police officers when they tried to handcuff him, then attempted to run away. As Brooks was running, Officer Garrett Rolfe fired his handgun three times, leading to Brooks’ death after surgery at the hospital.

So now we know the truth, Mr. Brooks was murdered.

We know that he was frisked for weapons upon exiting his vehicle (both officers knew he wasn't armed)
He was given a sobriety test and failed (he was legally drunk and both officers knew it)
He fought with the police as many intoxicated individuals will given their state of mind
He took one of the officers tasers (a non-lethal weapon) and began to run away (the officer clearly states
at least twice "he has a taser)
He was shot in the back twice and killed (he was murdered in cold blood because the officer was embarrassed
that he had his taser taken away from him, and he and his partner couldn't subdue an intoxicated black man)

Brooks had 3 kids who are too young to understand what happened to their father, and a step-son

 

This is surreal. It seems that no matter what, men and women of questionable mental stability along with power/God complexes will always find a job in law enforcement. Of course not ALL cops are bad but damn if the bad ones aren't seriously malevolent and evil...with no qualms.

What the hell...something has to change, and I have a feeling something is coming around the corner.
