As indicated by other states: "Probable cases are those who test positive by other testing methods such as antibody or antigen, and have recent symptoms consistent with COVID-19, indicating a recent infection." Churchill was responsible for this debacle as he was the one who advocated and supported it, costing us vital lives of many thousands of soldiers and others as well as millions of tons of vital equipment.

Churcill as Lord of the Admiralty in 1940, prior to becoming Prime Minister - planned (???) the Norwegian campaign - yet another debacle that again cost the UK hugely in personnel, arms and equipment.

As Prime Minister he dictated to Gen. Allenby to withdraw many troops, tanks and support equipment from North Africa and send them to support Greece. By so doing he denuned the North African campaign of sufficient troops to fight off a counter-attack by Erwin Rommel, leading to an ignominious retreat all along the Noth African coast, the loss of the city of Tobruk and again the loss of lives and equipment. In addition, because the force sent to Greece was also insufficient, they too were pushed back by the Wehrmacht which led to an evactuation of mainland Greece to Crete, and when the Wehrmacht attacked Crete, again ther was insufficient personnel and equipment to withstand the German invasion.
