I could count 100 things over the last 3 1/2 years people on this site have said will cause him to loose the 2020 election, still unlikely to happen

In the current moment, seems like the perfect time for someone / anyone from the Democrats or the Left to rise up as a spokesperson that every body rallies behind and listens to, draws crowds of a 100,000

That's not happening, which is rather curious, as far as black spokespersons go, Jamie Fox seemed to get the most attention so far, a wealthy Hollywood actor who hasn't known hardship for decades

The protesters are faceless so far in terms of a lead spokes person

Back in 1997 I paid $39.95 to watch Tyson-Holyfield (along with 3 months of free HBO) and what i witnessed along with millions of other viewers
was a disgrace. After that fight I lost any little respect i may have had for tyson.

He was able to bring heavily armed troops into D.C. tonight because there's no governor to ask permission,
but he would have to invoke the insurrection act before sending armed troops elsewhere.

He also said he put the Joint Chief of staff in charge, in charge of what?

It's almost a week in though, makes a speech when he thinks it will all die down in a few days anyway. Bit of tough talk, when he knows it will probably blow over before he has to do anything, and now it will look like he got tough and ended it

Whether you think it was a great speech or not, people will remember it for years to come, they won't remember it was 6 days into the carnage

Yet another time when I facepalm and think to myself, man you lefties just don't think more than a couple days ahead

Most black people in the United States today tace back to slavery in the U.S. Most of the exceptions are from the West Indies. In Minnesota, there is a Somali population of recent origin. But if we're doing reparations, don't forget the Native Americans. My people were forced out of their original homeland east of the Mississippi to Oklahoma. That's got to be worth big bucks, and I could use some cash right now. Seriously, though, I think reparations are a bad idea, cuz they'll bankrupt the country, and individuals who had nothing to do with the original injustices won't understand why they need to pay for them. We need to move on.

No, I'm saying your talk sounded like a foreign language to me. So I gather zople is a person? I thought from Urban Dictionary that it was a category of editors: " A Zople is a well-known instagram editor among the "vaporwave" community and started the trend of #sadniggahours ". I have no idea what that sentence means, but it sounds like it is not referring to an individual. Anyhow, you seem to be referring to an indvidual who is responsible for a series of posts on the Instagram on the hashtag which you provided. I tried to navigate that but couldn't make it to the relevant video because it asked me to sign in, which I won't do. You infer from the material on the site that he is BLM because he seems to be sympathetic to the movement. And seems to have been with the mob that beat the unfortunate white guy with the sword. Is that correct? I would imagine lots of folks at a protest rally for George Floyd are sympathetic to BLM, and might in fact be members of BLM. To make the inference that BLM was therefore responsible for the beating, though, is to commit the logical fallacy of hasty generalization.

As for the Seattle scene, how are we to identify these people as Antifa and BLM, other than the label telling us? Are all whites at protest rallies Antifa, and all blacks BLM?The initial assailant was white, and whites and blacks joined in. Assuming they all were members of Antifa and BLM, drawn together at an emotion-charged event , does the fact that they reacted violently to an "elderly" white man in a red cap waving an American flag in their face (no context of previous interactions provided) show that Antifa and BLM are collaborating to cause violence? Again, hasty generalization.

As for the "racially motivated" and "bigoted" reference to Swahili, if you were African-American you might have a case (although even there I'd say you were carrying political correctness to ridiculous extremes.) . I might have said it sounds like Outer Mongolian (but then you'd say I was anti-Asian). Or I might have said Serbo-Croatian, but then you'd say I was anti-Slavic. I used to speak some Swahili. Seilewi is what I should have said. But then you could accuse me of speaking Swahili.

Seriously? He didn’t address what is going on? Pretty sure he did. Not all protesters are doing this, some protesters are doing it, he addressed the family, saying justice will be served and addressed those who hav3 been beaten, killed through this, businesses that have been lost. Etc... reassured the people that they did not have to fear the people who are out to do damage, you seem to think that the rioters are the Americans. Majority of Americans hav3 stayed clear of this ,... I knew it would lead to riots, I wasn’t even there, but I knew, and any American with a brain in their head knew... on this forum also knew it would go this way too. But let’s go out to join in on the fun. Some were peaceful.

how do you like a ww2 cemetery being vandalized? What kind of statement was this? Burning of a church?

do you call this freedom fighting?

It was still a derogatory remark to people who speak Swahili and you don’t. The fact is you can be bothered reading anything that addresses your echo chamber. Your excuse it, it is just gibberish. Fine, don’t care. 45 million immigrants in the USA. I suppose you think Obama deserves reparation too. Because you know, he was not a defendant of slaves in the USA, Like he claimed. The number of people in the USA who are actually descendants of black slaves is very small. A fraction of the total population of Africa; Americans or black People. Slaves came specifically from the sub Sahara. There are over 40 million people in the USA who were not born on US soil Today, nor are they descendants of slaves.

the population of the USA in 1850 was 23,191,876 and almost 4 million of them were slaves.
So really who is entitled to reparation is pretty small. BLM believes every black person living in America is entitled, but they have split off, and there is a group who are actual descendants who say, no it isn’t for everyone, it is for us,

in 2009 3.5 percent of the population were new immigrants from Africa.

1 in 5 of the population in minneapolis were new immgrants from Africa,

    are they entitled too?

here ... look at the table on this page, show the numbers of immigrants from Africa and tell me they are entitled to reparation because of slavery from 1850. Lol. It is not for everyone of colour in the USA today.

African Immigrants in the United States

and yes, I am for reparation to native people FIRST! Not after anyone else. Descendants of slaves can get behind native people in my opinion, everyone can.
are you native or just taking on a native chiefs name for the hell of it?
Or maybe you are simply from the area, town.,

Apparently reports are that Floyd was on Fentanyl and had Methamphetamine in his system.

So? Are you really trying to argue that if he had been just left alone, he'd have died when he did, without police assistance? I think a jury would find that hard to believe. An independent autopsy report concludes that Floyd died of “sustained pressure on the right side of Floyd’s carotid artery impeded blood flow to the brain, and weight on his back impeded his ability to breathe.” It also found that he had Fentanyl in his system. The original Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s autopsy found that the stress of being restrained, plus chemicals in Floyd’s system and his heart disease, contributed to his death. There's an expression in the law "you take your victim as you find him." There's another expression sine qua non or "but for". Were it not for the officer's knee on his neck, would the death have occurred?
