Yeah I've heard of White Tigresses.( I thought that would appeal to u!!) I've got some of Mantak Chia's books. You should try the energy circulating exercises. Its amazing. I've seen 70 , 80 yr old Taoists and they look astounding.Their type of fitness is way above a young person.
humor, philosophy, inanimate objects, existentialism, mythology...all combined with very sensual undertones. He is a master at his craft and I think from reading your posts that you will completley vibe with him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jitterbug_Perfume Tis my fav book in all the world
The major themes of the book include the striving for immortality, the meaning behind the sense of smell, individual expression, self-reliance, sex, love, and religion. yeah that sounds like something i would love to read right NOW i truly hope i can find his stuff here, or i will have to order again
Sounds a really clever set of themes. I like books that put loads of things together. Unfortunately I write at an absolute snails pace tho...
I will check when I get home tonight...if you find that it is unavailable to you...and if I still have a copy left, I will send it to ya We go to a used book store alot and sometimes find it on the free shelf, just because there will be a rip or something.....then I give those away. Its such a fun read. He has another called Another Roadside Attraction where they have stolen Christ's dead body from the Catholic church. He's a genius though his later works start to lose their flavor.
Yeah , some of it is at first draft stage. But I'm juggling other balls at the same time , so its not easy ...
awww thank u so much, that`s so really nice of you ill search for it tomorrow, coz i`m not going anywhere tonight and if i find nothing ill write to ya thanks a lot, a lot once more u are totally great and i love you
yes i read "Interview with a vampire", "The vampire Lestat" and "Queen of the damned" in English. but those are the only ones i have read in English.
You are welcome. I never even thought about your reading in English or not....I suppose because you do such a good job on here. you might need a dictionary, I know I do with him. He's a word conniseur. I love you too chica You are very dynamic.
The book , ohhh its a complicated novel. But its these sorts of themes. And I run my own business in one thing.Setting up another. So its hard work , but I suppose thats the path I chose...
I think its frustrating to read books in English. Not because its difficult or complicated, but because I get distracted by certain words and grammatical constructions, so I end thinking about that and reading my dictionary instead of a book
well there are some words i did not understand, but reading the whole sentence it was logical what the word is. an example for what it might be directly came in my mind and pretty much everything was clear, the meaning of the sentence was perfectly clear. i thought i was going to have very hard time reading them at first and i was stunned it was so easy for me. you know my English is a middle level, maybe even below that but i`m developing and i have always wanted to read those books so i was going to no matter what language they were written in
Oh I agree, it not difficult at all. But I always end up observing the language and its use, instead of reading the book. Your English is pretty good, Greengirl.
