Oh boy, I had to react to this but I don't even know where to start. If you think Serbs are savage animals in general, then you are part of the problem. I hate it that you are igniting hate that has really nothing to do with you. Serbs have harmed me any my family way more than they have you. However, I understand that most of them are mostly just normal, decent people who had nothing to do with the war. Especially younger generations. I have Serbian friends, they're lovely people (as much as I hate using the ole "I have XY friends"). Just saying, there is no hate. Heck, I don't even hate those worst war criminals sitting in Den Haag. And I've spent many nights of my childhood in basements durings bombings. Not to mention other unpleasant things. However, if you think only Serbs who are guilty of the genocide are savage animals, can't really argue with that. I hope you feel the same about the Turks regarding the Armenian genocide though. Or the Hutu for what they did in Rwanda. Everyone who willingly participates in a genocide IS a savage animal, and should be held accountable in court. However, blaming and insulting an entire nation is just fucked up, and not helpful. I hope you're not doing that. Serbs, Muslims (Bosniaks) and Croats all committed war crimes during the Bosnian war. There were, and are, bad people on every side, and no side is entirely innocent in a war. Srebrenica genocide was the worst atrocity in Europe since WWII. We should never forget it, and we should see that justice is served (hint: Karadzic's verdict last month). I hope you equally condemn all war crimes, regardless of who committed them. By the way, national (Bosnian) law, as well as international, has been suspiciously slow to indict Bosnian Muslims for war crimes. And there were plenty. One could argue that there's some bias there, and political motives, but hey....the ICTY is the best we got. Not perfect, but yeah. You should also really stop victimizing yourself. We get it, you're Muslim, it was tough growing up. Newsflash: it ain't that exotic anymore, no one hates you because of that (it's not like you're a savage Serb, eww ). And didn't you kick that nativity scene or whatever it was? Did the decent local people deserve that? One could argue that that is hatred. So you might as well stop accusing others of that.

Oh I know. I still couldn't resist. Relations between the three constituent peoples in Bosnia are at a low point. People like him contribute to that, and it irks me.

Oh wow HE is lecturing ME on the Bosnian war and the losses. I'm almost speechless. And there was nothing in my post to indicate I "don't care much for Muslims generally", wtf. I am not even going to get into the whole "trivializing the genocide of your people" thing. What a way to miss the point and twist things. You have got to be doing this on purpose. I was born there. They're not your people more than they are mine, regardless of religion. Spare me the "I know someone who lost their family in the Bosnian war". Well, I know.....a lot of people on all three sides. Some people here are consumed with hate like you (and they're making it difficult for all of us), but most are decent people just trying to live their lives. How easy it is to sit in Australia or wherever you are, and spread such hate. You haven't lived through the war, and you don't have to live here and deal with that shit first hand. You had to deal with nasty comments from a Serb. And that's it (btw, I've dealt with a lot of nasty comments based on ethnic background myself, from a lot of sides - Serbs, Muslims, and Croatian Croats). So spare me. You can play the victim here (honestly, seems like you really like doing that, and I get it - it simplifies things and it's easy), but if anything, YOU offended ME. Many times I've posted about the Srebrenica genocide. Pretty much every year in July. You can pretend I dislike Muslims if it's easier for you, and completely miss the point. Whatever works for you.
