I say Eastwood's "Million Dollar Baby" last weekend... very much worth a viewing. Not an upper at all. The movie seems to be about boxing, but in the end it's really about a much larger issue. Great story but don't take your first date to it. Morgan Freeman and Eastwood are great as aged boxers. Hilary Swank is a great southern-style "take no crap" female boxer. Too add to the tension, someone in the theater had a heart attack; 911 was called, the movie was stopped, and in the end the guy survived, but whoooEEEEE that added to the drama.
I am majorly in debt right now so I can't afford to go to movies, but I am dying to see this one. After all, Clint Eastwood is my hero and the love of my life.
I saw it last night, and have some mixed feelings about it today. It was a great movie, but it depressed & disturbed the crap out of me. A good movie, that I wish I didn't see. If that makes sense.
