Hey all, I applied for a job within my company at their location in San Rafael. I'm definitely qualified, but who knows whether or not I'll actually get it. If I accept the position, I'll be relocating from Nebraska. Can anyone tell me what these areas are like, cost of living, etc.? I used to live in South Omaha.. Papillion was west of us and just a bunch of grassland with apartments being built.. I worked for Ak-Sar-Ben Roofing.. we re-roofed most of the stockyards and Offutt AFB in Spring of '73.. It was a nice time and town.. I'm too far north to advise you about Bay Area.. I stay away from traffic.. Best of luck to you!
I'm from South Omaha! I'm sure everything is different around the metro area from the time you last saw it, but it's still a pretty good town for the most part. I'd like to stay away from traffic, but I don't think it will bother me either way. I drive a bus for a living!
