it works.. probably would've tasted better had i filtered it properly so that minimal chlorophyll got extracted.. put some material got through the cloth and into the tray.. the oil itself came out an amber color.. dark when in quantity.. good smell to it.. good high.. just tasted like ish...

as for technique i put my abv in the freezer for a couple hours.. (in the jar i was going to add the iso to)... then took the jar out of the freezer... covered with iso... swirled around for 30secs... and strained... covered again with iso.. swirled for 40sec... and strained...

 

how much abv did you use, and how much iso alchol? highest percentage you can get i'm guessing. i'll have to look up details and maybe ask you some more questions before i actually do it.

 

i had 10g of abv with some stems in the mix.. i used enough iso to give the mixture liquidity so i could swirl it around... i used 92%... some people do multiple washes with lower % to lower the risk of extracting chlorophyll.. you can also use 99%

i probably have almost 2 ounces of vaped bud. that's the weight after being vaped i mean. and about the same amount of stems.

 

the reason for freezing the marijuana is because it helps loosen the oils from what i have read.. i dunno if it really makes a difference or not
