The Austrian police have found an abandoned truck with nearly 50 immigrants dead inside of it. It looked like they had suffocated inside the truck. The truck was found in Austria but had Hungarian plates, and had been near Budapest. They are looking for the driver. The immigrants are most likely from the Middle East, escaping war conditions in their own countries. What a sad story!

I think its depressing how people try to profit off these immigrants. I was thinking how you always hear stories of people risking their life to guide slaves along the underground railroad in the civil-war era US or hiding Jews during WWII. I'm sure there are still people willing to help with nothing in return and I'm sure there were profiteers back in the day too and I'm just viewing history through rose colored glasses....but still. Sometimes it seems like humanity is missing an empathy chip.

That's right Meliai, humanity is missing an important empathy chip these days, an important one. Humanity also has a mean chip in it when you look at how wars and poverty cause all these people to leave their homes for a batter life elsewhere.
