i accuatly shaveD with shaving cream. i pritty much use the sensitive cream, even for my face too ( i dont use the same blades down there as my face :D ) i used to use the twin blades. but now stopped useing blades since it irrated the hole area and sorta got ichy. i use a machine and trim it once in a while. i prefer that. but when i was using the twin blades i did some times go a bit to the side and shave some of the parts with the out breaks. < using that and the idea of the jeans irrateing me i think thats how it started. may be my boxers irrate me? i really doubt im allergic to any thing tho or id feel it on the rest of my boddy. and not using too much soap, i like to think im a pritty clean guy. i take showers every day, use soap all over, every thing. im even clean shave most of the time. soo yah it could be that ache thing.... i think imma tell my mom that i have ache problem and need to see the doc. i dont think i wnana go to a free clinc since ive been to once and it was crowded with people and im sure its not an STD. ill keep you guys up dated.

it could be the boxers, are they lightweight cotton? are the bumps near the elastic waistband? cause the elastic could press and constrict them and make it worse. my guess would be the jeans, just cause they're a lot rougher and could cause chafting. does stuff come out only when you squeeze it, or is there any wet glossy stuff, like when you have a scab healing? cause maybe the goo sticks to your pants/knickers.. cause sometimes that stuff can stick to the fabric and dry up... and then maybe you're pulling off that top layer if it sticks to your clothes? if it does, then you might just want to let the air hit it for a while. maybe lounging around in your knickers or some lightweight pants would help, too.

good job keeping clean, too. i asked about the soaps, cause of what happened to a friend of mine a few years ago... we went to the beach, and later that night she got horribly itchy, and a rash broke out. it turns out my mumma washed the towels with something lauren (somehow) didn't know she was allergic to. but if you're switching your brands up and such, then that's probably not the problem.

yeah, if you're pretty sure it's not an std then you might want to skip the clinic and see a regular doc or a skin doc instead... cause, even though the std clinic would be able to say that it's not herpes (or any std) they might not be able to tell you what's up with it as easily and as accurately. not to say they wouldn't be able to diagnose it, but you're more likely to get more thorough info from a specialist (rather than someone who specializes in a much less related field).

good luck! i hope you're able to find out what it is soon, and that it is easy to clear up.

Get some baggy, comfortable boxer shorts. Like lawngirl said, your underwear could be irritating the sores if they're too tight or whatever. Hope it works it ok man, let us know.

    Faded-

I think it's jock-itch, a fungal infection. Both my daughters used to get thrush, a yeast infection of the skin, when they were babies, and the sores looked a lot like that.

It's caused by dampness... the area gets sweaty and stays wet & warm, perfect growing conditions for fungi.

Your doctor will probably give you Nystatin skin ointment if that's the problem. Or, if you're really suffering (I'd imagine that shit hurts) go to the store and get an over the counter yeast infection medicine, like Monistat. Try the 3-day cream. I used to use that on my daughters' thrush after we'd gotten the first diagnosis. Cleared it up quickly and easily.

    Take care!

sup guys.my bad i didnt post sooner. i changed my appointment to today beacuse i had school that day. the doctor said it must be some irratetion, and i MIGHT be caused by my washing of clothes. i guess beacuse i add a bit of cheer and tide to my laundry. werid thing is ive been doing that for a long time now. the doc gave me a antibiotic and an oitment to put down there.. she said that since theres a hard part on the skin in 1 of the areas thats beacsue my body released some chemical to contain the infection so it wont spread threw out my body. soo yah. i just put on the cream and took the pill. illl let u guys kno how it ends up
    thanks for the help
    peace

Good job! I know that going to the doctor can be scary and uncomfortable. But, it is necessary, sometimes. :)

I'm glad you told your mom. As a mom myself, I know I would want my son to tell me if he has something strange going on (and he usually does). Sorry that she freaked out, though. Has she calmed down, I hope?

Hey faded.. I know this is none of my business but since you are putting it out there...About the illegal stuff...Were you by any chance doing any kind of speed or stimulants? If so I know that sometimes users get what u call: "speed bumps". I had a friend into speed pretty bad and he would get them on his genitals. If is not that I'm pretty sure it was only Folliculitis, which is often due to shaving. Did the doctor say? Good luck to you...Jane...
