Micro-managers.

    Micro-managers.
    Several decades ago I was working as a civilian cook for the army. One military cook who was more critical of me than anyone else. He was a nit-picker. Thing was he was the one who got complaints not me. He was a micro-manager and frequently come up with retrospective instructions. He was super slow at being promoted. He was big at blaming. A big kid.I was gloating when he got duped by scAmway.

    Military guys are usually assholes and strict. My grandparents were strict assholes. :p I guess like in their 50s when I was a kid. Kinda mellowed out over time too. I guess everybody deserves a time in their life to throw their arms up and that's it. I'm old. I ain't got enough time to care about these small problems anymore lol.

    Usually the one’s who get complaints are the ones worried about what everyone else is doing and trying to put the spotlight on them by pointing out all their flaws (only to get the spotlight off themselves).

    This guy would routinely go out to the Caterer's office to complain about anything and everything in much the same way as Suzanne would hit the Report button on HF In retrospect I think this guy was autistic.

    Micro-managers lack personal leadership and tend to:
    Resist delegating work.
    Immerse themselves in the work assigned to others.
    Look at the detail instead of the big picture.
    Discourage others from making decisions.
    Get involved in the work of others without consulting them.
    Monitor what’s least important and expect regular reports on miscellany.
    Push aside the experience and knowledge of colleagues.
    Loose loyalty and commitment.
    Focus on the wrong priorities.
    Have a de-motivated team.
