The reason everyone is weeping and making such a big deal is because he was the king of pop back in his hey day, before all the weirdness started happening. I was in boston when he died and the next day every radio station was playing MJ.

 

Damn, I never thought about that!

I love MJ. The man was incredible, untouchable, and immortal. Whatever was said or thought of about him, the very bottom line was he shared peace, love, and music with everyone and anyone, what more could anyone ever ask of a human being. There will never be another person like him ever. The world has lost the greatest entertainer of all time. R.I.P Michael, may you find peace where ever you're going.

It is kind of ridiculous that major news networks reported nothing else for hours at a time. According to MSNBC and Fox News (and others I'm sure), the death of Michael Jackson was the most important thing that happened in the world that day.
