When they got word of the hijacking before the planes even hit the buildings they started to look at the passanger list and then researched ties to terror. Actually pretty easy to find out who they were.
Robert Bonner, the head of Customs and Border Protection, finally shot back at the panel with a startling boast. “We ran passenger manifests through the system used by Customs-two were hits on our watch list of August 2001,” Mr. Bonner testified. “And by looking at the Arab names and their seat locations, ticket purchases and other passenger information, it didn’t take a lot to do a rudimentary link analysis. Customs officers were able to ID 19 probable hijackers within 45 minutes.” He meant 45 minutes after four planes had been hijacked and turned into missiles. “I saw the sheet by 11 a.m.,” he said, adding proudly, “And that analysis did indeed correctly identify the terrorists.” Read more at http://observer.com/2004/02/stewardess-idd-hijackers-early-transcripts-show/#ixzz38J0sfteD Follow us: @newyorkobserver on Twitter | newyorkobserver on Facebook
That's not like you wiz. You've letting conspiracy theory seep into your otherwise clear thinking. Much more interesting is considering why they needed to do their own investigation before putting the whole thing into the hands of US/Nato biased investigators. And even more interesting is the question on why they felt they needed to cut up pieces of the wreckage and carry it away? It certainly wouldn't be to hide evidence of a missile attack as that would be quite impossible to do. And that's not to suggest that it 'was' a missile attack. Here's something that I do think can be considered as a conspiracy theory though. This literally sings of cold war tactics on one if not both sides.
sell it for scrap... with a crushed economy, anything worth anything is metal. in Iraq. no sooner was a building hit by bombs and brought down. Iraqis salvage scarp, taking whatever metal they could get their hands on ... Even DU munitions .. Im only assuming they seen some heafty pieces of aluminum, which is a high paying metal, light and easy to move. not true,, one passport was found among the rubble, in fact it was in clear sight.. The indestructible crash proof passport available at fine retailers.. ;p
I'm willing to entertain different ideas but more importantly...able to disregard them when it's clear that they aren't true or relevant. (Some people suck at that) I just saw that video and wondered if it was real and found it interesting if it was. Where are you seeing the wreckage being carried away? Link?
Just like all the other debris that was scattered for blocks, when the plane hit it exploded sending things all around for like I said blocks. Seat cushion found 2 blocks away, jewelry found blocks away. Everything just does not evoprate and explosion blasts outward and things fly in that direction.
So you admit that people who spread and believe conspiracies have "feeble minds". Good to know and thanks for the compliment.
Actually, no there were some in the intelligence community blowing the whistle about 9/11, before it actually happened, nobody listened and the different intelligence communities weren't talking to each other and were trying to upstage each other in a bureaucracy.
There was a wall put up so different agencies could not share info and yes trying to upstage each other. Even so doubt anything would have been done or could have been done to prevent it.
A change in human ego would've been nice. Human nature causes these problems, and therefore I say the species needs to focus on behavior and emotional change to get past such grandiosity problems at a individual and broad spectrum.
I suspected as much from the beginning,...but neodude???, he's been around here forever... guess he got really bored
How would someone use two logins and assume that mods can't run a quick check to find out? I didn't even know that was against the rules but never thought about it because I only have one username.
