Methadone does not show up on most standard urine tests. It does however show ip in blood tests. I am speaking from my own experience. I was in hospital a while back and they tested me for any substances. I had only taken methadone and it did not show up in the hospitals urine screening. Later on I was transfered to a different hospital/ short term rehabilitation center and they took another urine test. The methadone did not show up. They then took a blood test and had it specialy analyzed and the methadone did show up. The places I was forced to go to were not bad hosptials they rank amongst the best in the state I currently reside in. They use the standard urine tests.
