Meth instead of Marijuana

i think they should just legalise fuckin marijuana, and increase drug education to lead to responsible use of drugs (not the education that drugs are bad mkay caus that gets nowhere). keep cocaine and heroin and speed illegal, but try to get people using it less, not try to get people to stop using fullstop.

That is very true, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. It probably will never happen.

 

I think in alot of ways as a society we are often confused, not the individual but society itself. So many people with so many diffrent ideas on what to do and how to handle things. I think marijuana should be legalized for nonviolent offenders. People who grew it or smoked it and got locked away for that one and only sole reason. I mean no matter what your beliefs are on murder, rape, other acts of or even things like theft and damage. marijuana and drugs in today's society still fits in with that big philisophical question gap with other things like abortion, homelessness, poverty, race, religion, death penalty. i particularly wouldn't use crack or hard drugs. I would however use psychedelics because of the lessons that the 60's and hippies in general taught us about peace and love and the mind of the individual. I think as long as your not directly physically hurting anyone you should be able to use drugs of your choice. The bottom line with drugs is that you can give people advice on not taking drugs but in the end it's their desicion so marijuana and other drugs can't be a gateway in that sence. i suppose you could look at it from a cops perspective and see how maybe some older kid is influencing a younger kid to try marijuana but then what about the kid who finds out about it from television or books and trys it and finds out it's not so bad so he decideds to see if his friend who's the same age wants to also try it. But they never at all influence anyone else. Then one day a cop smells marijuana on public property, such as a park and it's the same kids having a good time so he arressets them for possesion. Is this Right? I think not. Of course if it was on private property i think the cop would have full right to arreset them for tresspassing but still probaly not for marijuana because that is still a bogus claim. see what i mean? Sorry im kind of rambling now. it's almost kind of like what they do in holland basically. and might i add Holland has a relativly low crime rate.
