I can't stand the vocals. But again, it's preference.

My preferences remain better in the tree.

I wish people would say how they made their decision so I could rant and belittle them for it.

I guess out side the metal world megadeth would be connsiderably underrated but I dont quite see it? Could you explain? Maybe its just because the people I hang out with are all megadeth fans...

Its not megadeth as a whole so much as it is dave mustaine.

Dave created riffs for metallica's early material, and has been credited on the albums, but still people talk like he's shit, while loving the early metallica work. Hit the lights, Four horsemen, Jump in the fire, Phantom lord, metal militia, ride the lightning, Call of ktulu were all co created by mustaine.

blabbermouth.net, the biggest metal news site in the world hosts thousands of people who preach that megadeth sucks dick.

It also annoys me that people who claim to love metallica have never heard megadeth, but will proudly proclaim that hammett > mustaine.

The bottom line is that Megadeth is every bit as good as any other thrash band around, and I dare say that dave could out play any of the other bands mentioned in this thread, just listen to his solos.

Good to hear that your friends are fans.

I'm pretty sure Burton was responsible for Call of Ktulu, don't know about the other songs though.

Listen to Hanger 18, you can tell Mustaine adapted the chords from ktulu to make a new song. As in, it was my idea so I'm still gonnna use it.

Metallideath - Your preferences remain in the tree because they are incapable of climbing down. (okay, bad call, this is jus getting stupid)

I like Call of Ktulu, so if Burton is responsible for that then nice one on him.

Different parts from different people, Mustaine wrote a lot of the guitar parts, including the intro.

The opening of Call of Ktulu on Metallica's S&M concert is just brilliantly played out.

Lars Ulrich was kicked from metal church. They said they needed someone who could play drums.

MC ended up with Kirk Arrington, or however it's spelled, much more proficient drummer.
