Dude, I tried to LEARN Far beyond the sun for the better part of a year. And though I completely respect his musicality, technique etc. I have to say trying to listen to more than one song at a time is impossible.
Try just making/saving a blank file (depending on how much time you need) for a few hundred seconds, then using the same file and editing it.
I actually met Michael Angelo, one time... but I didn't know who he was until I did. I think he or Andy Griffith were the first famous people I've gotten to meet. I'm not too big on nu/black/death metal stuff... They try to hide behind way too much distortion. Eh, I generally stick to the older stuff and the G3... I don't like sticking to genres. I'd rather create a fusion of several... which is why I like the G3, especially Eric Johnson.
I like system of a down, too. And they DID make a song about pizza. Chick n' Stu. Don't tell me it's bashing advertising, or try to come up with some deep, thoughtful meaning. They smoke enough weed to paralyze a third world country, they probably had the munchies when this masterpiece was written. This ballgame's in the refrigerator, The door is closed, The lights are out, And the butter's getting hard. What a splendid pie, Pizza-pizza pie, Every minute, every second, Buy, buy, buy, buy buy, What a splendid pie, Pizza-pizza pie, Every minute, every second, Buy, buy, buy, buy buy. Pepperoni and green peppers Mushrooms, olive, chives, Pepperoni and green peppers Mushrooms, olive, chives. Need therapy, therapy, Advertising causes need, Therapy, therapy, Advertising causes. Bunch of repetitive shit... Well advertising's got you on the run, Need therapy, therapy advertising causes Need. ....I don't have to state my point. The band just did it for you. Bashing advertising? Hmm. Guess how I heard about this album. On a commercial. Ironic.
i totally think the idea of having that kinda singer is cool but ionno it just didnt sound the way i imagined it would. totally let down.
I just got back from Iron Maiden in Toronto, and it sucked for the most part because the acoustics were horrible and the guitar solos were so muffled that you could barely hear them (which is typical of this particular venue) but even still, they were really awesome when they did The Trooper. Bruce was in uniform waving around the union jack while the 3 guitarists lined up in formation and went into the solo
yeah, thats one of my favorite guitar riffs of all time I assume that the guitar and bass are playing the same thing
Mmmm. black metal is gooooooood. Dimmu definetly a favorite. Some other fav's are Dark Tranquility, Mnemic, Meshuggah, In Flames, & Napalm Death. Anything norwegian or swedish really. hehe
