I found this on Facebook and really love with this young man had to say... I'm in this side of world and you're in another side of it . I say offhand , Imagine that you born from my mother's womb and i from your mother's womb , Then you will be in this side of world and i in another side , They baptized me and Say Azan in your ear , They telling you story of Karbala and Telling me The Passion of the Christ , They telling you bad things about Sunnies and telling me bad things about protestants , They telling you they are Unrestrained in other side and call you a Terrorists , Then me and you hate each other without asking we want . You see ?! How others destroy our world ...
This is how people with exclusionary religious beliefs fuck things up. In the words of the late John Lennon; "Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today..." eace:
Thumbs up for mindless preaching of religions that will not save you. Sometimes I wonder where humanity could be by now if it hadn't been for the fucking fanatics in the last 3000 years.
Sarcasm is the language of violence. So, yeah.. I really liked what the young Iranian had to say. Especially that part about Americans being unrestrained, yet accusing others of being terrorists...
Protestants; he must be after Mel Gibson. I like Mel Gibson personally, or is he re-incarnated as a half-breed wolf. Anyone for Aesop's fables? :biker:
Hey! Whats up I have no problem with Iranians! If I could be any other ethnicity, I would be middle eastern, probably Iranian because I think your people are beautiful!!!! I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and would gladly trade it for a day Also, my boss is Persian, he's a very well respected doctor. So again, I have zero qualms.
The Pashtun of Afghanistan and Pakistan often have red hair and blue or green eyes. Do a google image search, I think they are some of the most beautiful people in the world. I really love middle eastern culture and I think its a shame religion as well as tribal war and western imperialism have prevented the two cultures from being friends
I know what you mean.. like this little girl, she is so pretty Also, I love the dark dark features seen here:
Thank You for sharing the words of that Iranian youth. And thank all of you for taking time to understand what he was saying. It warms my heart to know that good people are still walking the earth and sharing goodness with others.
Been watching: Shah's of Sunset, reality TV, about Iranians in California. There are so many thousands of them in Cali; its become cliché. The show is sympathetic portrayal of new Americans who have one foot in each culture. Yet, these people cannot go back home, not yet anyway.
I'm lucky, I live with Mexicans, Indians and a Pakistani guy (I love him!) but it would be so cool to have Iranians in New England. I wonder why they chose California? I don't watch TV but I might check out the show anyway.
