Mermaid Sightings Claimed in Israel | Live Science

Locals and tourists in the Israeli town of Kiryat Yam have been flocking to the coast in hopes of glimpsing a creature that most people believe only exist in fairy tales.

An alleged mermaid, said to resemble a cross between a fish and a young girl, only appears at sunset. It performs a few tricks for onlookers before disappearing for the night.

mermaid, Shlomo Cohen, said, "I was with friends when suddenly we saw a woman laying on the sand in a weird way. At first I thought she was just another sunbather, but when we approached she jumped into the water and disappeared. We were all in shock because we saw she had a tail."

The sightings apparently began several months ago.

 

I believe everything

 

That's definitely a mermaid.

 

Heck, here in Florida we have hundreds of them. They were first seen by 15th Century sailors here. We call them Manatees.

I've watched the ending over and over.
I dont know how I'd be able to even start to disprove this footage

 

The ending was ideal how the footage was broken down in segments.

The Adagio for Strings like ambianic music put me in a sadness state of mind for the mermaid type humanoid and all of its loneliness.

It was starring out at sea, wondering if would die alone.

 

If an alien race wanted to create new intelligent life in earth, it makes sense to seed the ocean.

I would also think that since it was aired on Animal Planet, it was picked apart and finally vetted.

 

Not convinced

 

I was watching The Break with Michelle Wolf and she said we've explored only 5% of the world's oceans. While I don't believe in a fish-woman hybrid it's quite possible this is some kind of previously undiscovered species

 

There used to be mermaids but since the earth is flat they fell over the edge centuries ago.

 

There are no mermaids and these videos are obviously fake. Ghosts are real, however.
