Mercury Eclipse

OK so the title is a little misleading, but a real cool event is about to take place. On Monday 5/9/16, a rare phenomenon called the Mercury Transit will take place where the planet Mercury will pass right between the Sun and Earth. And you'll be able to see it between the hours of 7:12 - 14:42 (EST)

Interesting but perhaps even more interesting will be the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017 which will be visible across America from coast to coast - can't wait

The location of the longest duration of totality for the August 2017 eclipse will be Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the place where space aliens allegedly landed in 1955.
