    i guess she thought the mouse was hungry, or maybe like a rancher, she was going to fatten him up first.
    that the mouse didn't run away as soon as it was let go, suggests it was still in shock, that or it trust the cat, more then any stray mouse has ever trusted me.
    maybe they grew up together. improbable inter-species relationships, though rare, are not THAT unusual.
