I trimmed only once in my life and it felt very itchy for days. My hand was in my jeans all the time I can't even imagine how itchy it would be after shaving completely. I'm not too hairy and my ex-girlfriends never complained about my bush so I don't do any kind of decoration down there anymore.
Slightly trimmed, not buzzed. Natural is perfectly fine too. Rough, prickly hair is a huge turnoff for me... And completely shaved even more so.
I got into shaving my pubes completely last summer. I'd started to shave the hair on my balls a month or so prior, and I just thought I'd try getting rid of the pubes altogether one night. I liked it and I would continue to keep it shaved for the most part...until I met my current SO. She prefers at least some hair on a guy's crotch from what she's told me. So, I've since grown it back and I just trimmed it last night for the first time in a long time. I still shave my ball hair, though. I don't she objects to that, lol.
I shave my pubes occasionally & get real horny while I'm doing it. Sometimes I go to trim them in length & get so turned on, I shave the whole pubic area & stomach & sometimes my chest hair as well at in one session. It looks unusual completely hairless in those areas but reminds me of my pre puberty years as well. Sometimes being much younger than I am now would make me feel better appearance wise.
The hairs possibly contain body sweat as well which can be a bit of a turn off. So shaving is a healthier method of preventing that do you think ?
I have a bikini trimmer I bought a few years ago that has 5 settings for trimming. So there is a variety of hair length you can choose from.
Yes of course. I think both sexes should shave for a matter of personal hygiene. But as for oral sex...it's awkward to stop midway because you have a hair in your mouth or worse, your teeth! ugh, it's so gross.
my girl i know prefers me to leave myself all natural im extremly hairy she says when im hard it makes my 4 incher look so manly sticking out of the sea of man shes funny. i prefer her to leave it because i feel like she looks like more of a woman then a girl but she trims it most times for going to the beach and things
Whether it's a turn off or a turn on, really depends on the person. Hygiene wise, just wash that area with soap and all should be good in that regard. However I must agree with quiet storm, that hair in the mouth is not pleasant. For that reason I can understand why someone would shave. It's just a trade-off though right? If you shave it can get itchy, and stubble can irritate all parties involved. Also I think it's harder for guys to shave that area (because of the balls)than it is for women right?
Sorry if I put this post in the guys thread : My wife's pubic hair is longer at the top of her clit hood than it is just below her navel area. Is this common ? It looks odd having pubic hair a different length in one place but are not trimmed but just natural length.
That sounds pretty natural to me, NZ. My pubic hair is like that when fully grown out, too. I just trim it because I'm uncircumcised, and the long strands can get caught in between the glans and under the foreskin. It's VERY uncomfortable when that happens. I DID have it shaved for a while, but it's easier just to trim it. Besides, no itchy skin! xD As for getting pubes in the mouth while oral which is off-topic in my case because I'd be talking about the female pubic hair..... I must be of a minority that actually thinks it's kind of hot in a perverted way, lol. I really don't mind it when I find a strand or two of my partner's pubic hair in my mouth. To me, that just comes with the territory.
i like the look of completely smooth look but prefer to be a bit hairy myself, am most turned on by the hairy guys that are slightly trimmed.
Mine are heavily trimmed at the moment & that's about the way I prefer them now or shaved off completely so I'm completely bald down there instead.
I like it trimmed with shaved balls. Shaved balls are more fun to suck on. And you don't get hair stuck in your teeth, which I think is super gross.
