    Just ran across this thread.
I've got a fairly large glass butt plug in right now. I love the stretched open feeling.

I've been looking at some 2¾"-3" silicone plugs, but haven't bought any yet. The largest glass one I have is 2⅝" & takes some work to get it in. I have taken 2¾ soft/rubber before & it really feels fantastic.

I use an Aneros sometimes to stretch me. I have used a couple of stainless steel plugs that were supposed to be made to walk around in. I liked the feel of them going in and I liked walking around with them but sitting was not fun. I liked taking them out too! Maybe I bought the wrong ones, not sure.

Oh YES! I agree. I wear the large more often but I do love the 2.0 when the mood strikes.

We would both have one in our ass and scissor each other , rubbing our plugs together.

I have a friend that works in the Emergency room of a hospital. The only thing that I can say is make sure it has a flared base, Or a tee shaped base.to prevent it from slipping in too far.

Any toy designed as a butt plug should be flared and/or T-shaped. Are you referring to random objects that people put in their ass or designed butt plugs that got sucked in?

    It happened to me once...yeah...

I was wearing a glass plug that definitely had a flared end...and I was laying down in my bed relaxing just scrolling around on my phone when I felt it suck up inside me. My first thought was..."OH FUCK!!" I felt down there and sure enough it was gone...not like I couldn't feel it inside me but out of sheer panic mode I felt with my fingers anyway. I stuck a finger up my ass and I could feel that it had turned upside down, so there was no flare to grab and there was lube present so all it did was slip when I tried to get a finger hold.
I actually did go to an urgent care facility which was EMBARRASSING...and they looked at me like I was an alien and said I'd need surgery...so I left.

I got it out myself though. I went in the bathroom, squatted down by the tub and with all my might...I pushed. It took a few times and I thought I busted a blood vessel in my eye from pushing so hard but I finally felt the flared end pop out of my ass. I reached down and I felt it so I pulled that fucker out and threw it in the trash.

Never again will I buy one of those small glass or metal plugs that have a small flared end. They're the ones that have a heart shape or a jewel inlaid in the end or anything that is the same size and shape. If it doesn't have a pronounced T shape ...then i'm out! Once was bad enough for me.

The problem is it is designed by the toy manufacturer. Not by someone in the medical field. A lot of the bases are small enough to easily slip in easily. Making it almost impossible to remove yourself. If you like them that is fine. Just be aware of what could happen and be careful

Crazy story! I could see how a small metal/glass plug gets super slick and if the base isn't very large, it gets sucked in. I have a few plugs and just checked them to make sure they are all T shaped!

People who like to use plugs usually play with them for generally the same reasons. In my opinion, they either aren’t very experienced in anal sex and want something to help them stretch a little to reduce the possibility of pain...or they are experienced and like to feel something there because it’s stimulating...at least that’s why I wear them.

Something small and comfortable that can be worn for extended periods without being uncomfortable, is most likely the draw for these smaller plugs. Unfortunately they can be the cause for a really screwed up day under certain circumstances.
If you are an experienced toy user and can take a larger dildo, then again...just my opinion...you have the ability to relax your hole even sometimes unconsciously...and that’s where these smaller plugs can become a real problem.
    A virgin ass...is probably fine...but I can take 8” of circumference and well...it wasn’t good.

    Be careful out there!

There is little chance of a T based one slipping in more then you would want. But I think that there is a lot of them out there that the base is not much larger then the toy itself. Do you really want to take a chance of it slipping in too far ? After listening to my friend who works in a emergency room at a hospital I do not think it is worth the risk. I am just putting this out there .

I bought one earlier in the week. It’s stainless steel with an electric blue gem on the end. It looks lovely and it feels amazing inside me. I had sex with my girlfriend while I wore it yesterday. That was really nice, fell out a couple of times and it was so lubed. But I just popped it back in again. Love it.

Please be careful as those are the ones referred to in the previous posts that can be sucked up inside you.

It seems like almost every thread about anal includes posts warning people to be careful not to let things slip too far in. I really think that only applies to less experienced people. I have pushed things out of sight many times & have always been able to push them back out. I've even put 2¼" glass plugs out of sight,, both forward & backwards.
I might be kinda weird, but there's been many other things in there too.... potatoes, apples, golf balls, (inside of condoms) etc. Even multiple grapes, individually. I counted them going in & made sure they all came back out.
I've never had any issues getting them back out & never even needed to pull on the condoms.
You really just need to learn your body very well.

My wife and I were playing around with a good sized plug for us at the time and she desired to go bigger. It had a super soft and flexible base. She popped it into me and turned around because she got a message on her phone she turned back and it slipped all the way in base and all. We both freaked out and I thought that I would need to go to get it removed. Since then I work the muscles for pushing and I get them out easily the first time it took about 15 minutes. Patients and relaxing makes it easier. Keep that in mind. If you have that happen again just relax and tell yourself that it will come out as easily as it went in. It should come out with little to no effort.
