The butane freeze chamber is effective for extracting any surface oil soluble stuff, thc, cocaine, vitamin a, vitamin d, etc. I wouldn't eat it, but depending on the type of butane used, it would be edible...

Revised Recipe!!!! For all you fans out there here is the official melange recipe. Melange: - 3/4 in x 3 in steel pipe - 3/4 in steel compression fittings - 3/4 in - 1/8 in steel inline tubing adapter - Stainless steel screen - Salt - Inka tea bag (Coca leaf tea) - marijuana - Butane (Lighter Refill Bottle) (N-Butane not Isobutane; ie. Colibri) Screw inline tubing adapter on one end of tube using one compression fitting. Screw screen on other end with one compression fitting. Two different types, use expensive stuff... Fill chamber with an inka tea bag and marijuana. Place bowl under press. Hold Butane can upside down and press butane into inline tubing adapter. Creates a liquid in bowl. Leave at room temperature 1 hour or until all liquid is dissolved. Grind Salt very fine. Discard chamber remains. Scrape bowl with a hard plastic knife. Combine salt with evaporation sediment of liquid butane collected from chamber containing organic ingredients. Butane fumes are combustible so don't make melange in your closet. Enjoy melange dust.
