Not a convo thread... meant to brainstorm/plan a get-together and road trip for many of the members here. Unfortunately it has been "conversationed" into something that will need closure. I suggest making a new thread and keeping the discussion on topic-- or better yet maybe set up a user group.

 

Very good idea. I think a lot of the info can be kept to PM's, as well. Especially things that may be incriminating.

I thought bringing things up early would really be a great benefit to the people who decided to participate, but clearly making a thread so early turned into a bunch of fun and celebrating. I didn't think the thread would get out of hand, as it did.

I will talk to Jake as soon as he is available, and we will thing of alternative. Maybe we can make a new thread and keep it strict and edited, just to keep people updated on a whim.

I was talking about this last night with toes, and really I don't think we need this up here THIS early. because people see it and think, "oh man that sounds fun, count me in!"
But then life happens and plans change. I think it would be better to talk about this march/aprilish so that way it'll be a lot more accurate with peoples plans and stuff. Right now its hard for me to take any thing seriously since its 6 months away and were all a bunch of stoners, y'know?

 

You don't know this audience very well do you?

I think the user group format might work well for this... problem being a site supporter is needed to set one up (I think). I'd be happy to do so myself but I'd need to know my efforts wouldn't be wasted. Perhaps details to be hashed out via PM.

 

Okay, I am just waiting for Jake, he keeps all the info organized somewhere in his jacket.

 

I could set up a usergroup for this.. unless there's a limit of one per supporter cos I've got one already
