Some place in Asia has this thing that they gut the fish while its alive, batter it, fry it and its still trying to breath when its served to the customer. Now thats some sick ass shit!

 

that is some sick shit. i think i may spew if someone served me a still breathing fish. Thankfully, I do not care for fish.

I had no way of controling that animals fate, so I'll at least not let it die in vain

Awwww, do you feel bad for those animals? Why judge humans for eating meat. I bet you wouldn't force your dog or cat to a vegetarian diet. Bet you never looked at a lion in disgust for killing and eating an animal.

 

ever seen a pair lion of "cubs" Trying to kill an infant elephant? very sad, because the elephant aint got the strength to escape, and the lions aint got the ability to actually kill it, just wound it for hours and hours due to the 'phants thick hide. the cruelst thing I ever saw on national geographic. And not a single human involved.

 

I have no problem eating the flesh from a dead animal (well not literally straight off the bone), i have no problem that the animal died for that flesh that i later consume, i have no problems that there are Alternatives to this way of life... but i do agree that treating and storing animals as packets of food and allowing them to suffer constantly is very wrong and unnatural.

 

indiginous and other people who lived close to the earth did so by thanking the spirit of the creatures and kinds of creatures that gave their lives so that they could themselves go on living. just as they observed other creatures, some of which have themselves to kill other creatures, in order to survive.

these concepts have only become difficult when we have so surrounded ourselves by our own artifacts that we have lost sight of our connectedness with all things.

we blinded ourselves when we invented cities, and kings, and guns.
and beliefs in which we pretend to be the center of the universe.

yet we choose to blind ourselves. our tools and toys did not do it to us without our choosing to. and we can still choose not to. whether we eat the flesh of once living creatures or not.
