True. You also need a stamp. In this case it would be a waterfowl stamp. I have both. Although the chances of a game warden showing up and hassling you are like 0. :2thumbsup: Its cool, now you know. much love.
Interesting idea but I don't like lumpy coffee... I'd probably prefer a hot steaming mug of steak then a coffee. I hope folks won't have a beef with that.
Could always just put in a beef boulion cube, or do it like the ancient Egyptians use to drink beer, with a straw!
Or you could do what bruce lee used to do, just throw a chunk of raw beef and like 3 eggs in a blender and drink that.../
I didn't know that practice came from ancient Egypt. The people I knew who did it do so to get drunk faster...
I'm shocked at the cruelty being shown here... Why would you ruin perfectly good coffee like this? Think of the poor coffee trees...
I could--- but I won't. I make the best damned coffee and I'll not adulterate it with animal products and by-products... and imitation animal flavorings... is imitation meat imitation murder...? Anyhoo... straws are out... I prefer scalding my palate with my morning cup o'jitters. My opinion of the "meat is murder" set is they should raise awareness of this problem by picketing groups of wolves and lions and tigers and bears (oh my).... basically occupy some entree level position in the protest community.
i tried to rep you, but it wont let me. but i also wanted to ask if you rest/ age your meat before cooking? i am apartment bound, but i have read that people age for a few days so that it is not as tough? and this is a very good doc about food and cooking, though it does have some mouth chewing closeups, but it didnt bother me. i highly recommend it. http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/cooking-human/ and in respect to the OP, meat is not murder. it is possible to murder an animal, cops that shoot dogs, boyfriends who drown kitties- murder. but meat is not taken out of viciousness, it is respectful. factory farming is horrible, i will grant you that, but you can not feed the masses with family farming. too many people live in cities. if there were a better system it would be different. if food were more local it would be easier. think of the solution, not of the problem, especially when the problem is misidentified. factory farming is a symptom, and meat is not murder. murder is a wasteful proposition. perhaps you could call the culling of laying hens after two years murder, but theres really not enough meat on them to eat anyway. but they get ground up into dog and cat food (poultry by products anyone?) dont they? so depending on where they go, maybe murder, maybe feeding your precious pets. I love the SL. its so logical and friendly. offenders to freedom get shot down, like geese.
I have no clue what other people do, or what 'should' be done... lol We don't age it... it's killed, plucked, cleaned, stuffed and surrounded by veggies in a roast pan in the oven usually all in an hour or two... occasionally we'll do it the day before we cook it, but that's just a timing thing. The second last one we did, was so tender and juicy that just touching it with the knife caused it to fall apart... the last one we did, was a little bit firmer, just perfect for slicing.
mmmm. i cant wait to have my own livestock. depending on where we move to, im still teetering between starting with chickens or rabbits.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmK0bZl4ILM"]YouTube - Arrogant Worms - Carrot Juice is Murder BAM! and while i eat my fair share of vegetarian meals, i still eat some meat. because it is delicious. and if everyone stopped eating meat, then world hunger would skyrocket, so yea good idea
I eat meat, not a lot of it, but I do, and I would hardly say I am a killer. Stupid opening post. seriously. Who cares what other people eat? Shouldnt you be more concerned with your impact on the world than anyone elses?
