You guys should read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser. Great book. It will make you want not to eat Mcdonalds or any fast food for some many different reasons. Such as the buisness practices of the restraunts and the suppliers. Almost makes me want to be a vegatarion, almost.

    I resist. It's called self-control...

"We all hate Pablo Escobar, but who can resist tooting a few lines here and there?"

Man we are so conditioned to eat thsi garbge. Like today I had a funral to attend and didn't get to eat all day. So afterwards me and my cuz are driving home and I'm like man pull in here and I order two double cheeseburgers with out even thinking about it. I thought about throwing them away but man moneys tight and I was hungry. The thought process of seeing those arches and thinking I'm hungrey wasn't even one I was aware of untill hindsight.

Lets just all give up Mc Donalds, KFC and Burger king
to put them all out of business.

The fact that these business are successful highlights the real cause of this problem; stupid Americans. The reason McD’s and other thrive is because Americans want cheap garbage that tastes good (maybe tolerable a better word). Still, no one should blame the fast food establishments; they’re just giving the people what they want. Should people make irrational decisions they will have to pay price. This same collective irrationality can be carried into other modern fiascos, none of which I will touch on here.

I personally worked at McD’s for almost two years, and since then I have not been able to eat anything off their menu. Just watching people stand line for the torture they have selected makes me mildly nauseous, and I’d rather starve than join them. It is more than just the cheap ingredients that are saturated in synthetics, it the people who prepare it. When I had a chance to prepare my own burgers, I’d enjoy a few double hamburgers, but after watching the way we “mass produced” the customers crap, I would not trust anything that I did not make for myself.

I won’t fill you in on the some of events I’ve witnessed, but I’ll tell you this. If I were to present some of these details, I would far surpass Jared as being the greatest Subway spokesman in history.

^yeah everyone I know that had worked at mcdonalds in the past wouldn't be in the same room as someone eatting their food! the stories they told me about the food itself and the people making it was soooooooo nasty! my friend witnessed a co-worker that dropped a head of lettuce, and was about to just pick it up and use it so my friend told her she should throw it away since it had rolled all over the floor, the manager over heard and yelled at my friend and told her the head of lettuce was fine and told the other girl to just use it, she didn't even rinse it off!!! yuck, and thats the mild story! I've heard WAY worse!

just think lettuce rolling around on a floor that shoes that had just walked through pee in the bathroom are walking all over tracking germs all around! ewwww I shutter thinking I used to eat fast food!

yeah I finally saw it last week! when I first heard of it I was like "why would a healthy man put his body through that just to make a point, he could kill himself!" but after watching I feel like thanking him, I wish everyone sees that movie, I feel so bad seeing little kids brought up on that food, they'll probably have to have by-pass surgury when they're like 20!

I was amazed to hear how bad the salad dressing was for you! I think he said it has just as much fat as a big mac (correct me if I'm wrong I can't quite remember) poor people who try to make healthy choices and choose the salad still are under the curse of McDonalds!

I think McDonald's food could be considered an addictive substance, because only the people who eat McDonald's like McDonald's, I've found. I don't and haven't for years, and I can't stand the taste, or lack thereof, of anything they offer.
