wish I had seen this thread sooner.
I love to wrap my dreads
I also make tams, headbands and wraps.

I can't crochet or knit...but I can use scissors... and am resourceful. I made a dress into a shirt and kept the left overs for my dreads... this is it rolled up, but it also lays flat and is a whole wrap.

 

Cool...I think I probably have a whole drawer of old clothes I could cut up and make useful again as dreadwear... shame I don't really like having things on my head lol

I have these 2 super boring plain green beanies, that i put my dreads up in. I like to keep them "inside" for the winter...lol



Its sortive like I cant quite graduate to any real dready-headware yet, but this plain beanie was the longest one that a "normal" store had.
Soon enough though i will run out of room with these, and have to get some great headware like all of you dreadys have....lol
