According to the World Health Organization, the US is the only developed country in the world where maternal deaths increased between 1993 and 2013. Other countries where maternal mortality increased include Afghanistan, Chad and Swaziland. (Great company there US.) In the US, Texas (predictably enough) leads the way. The rate of maternal deaths there has doubled in the past two years. "In the absence of war, natural disaster, or severe economic upheaval, the doubling of a mortality rate within a 2-year period in a state with almost 400,000 annual births seems unlikely," the authors of the study wrote. They didn't speculate about what was behind this spike in mortality rates. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/pregnancy-related-deaths-are-inexcusably-high-in-the-us_us_57b601d8e4b0b51733a20d56
Increase per capita? Gotta doubt these "studies" with all of these hysterical third wave feminists slithering about.
did you even bother to read it before pounding away at your keyboard? "The pregnancy-related death rate in Texas nearly doubled between 2010 and 2012 ― the same time period that the state severely cut women’s health funding, most notably at Planned Parenthood, according to a new study." “It’s a combination of factors that speak to the systemic problems of failing to provide affordable, accessible, quality health services to all women in the United States.” third wave feminist...LOL where da fuck do folks come up with this shit....
no i didn't read the whole article, you kinda learn to save your time and energy after being bombarded week after week by feminist diarrhea and their craptacular biased garbage "studies" about the treatment of 'poor ol women' in first world countries if you're smart.
Aahhh, ok, Gotcha, only smart people don't actually read shit so they know what they are talking about before making asinine and bigoted remarks.
