Feedback needed. After 15 years of marriage our sex life isn't what it once was. My wife has a brutal work schedule and at best sex is every other weekend. I have much more of a sex drive than she does. I've been handling this through porn, although lately I've begun feeling bad about it because I am looking at other women. Lately I have started masturbating in bed while she sleeps. I'll put one hand on her and feel her breathe and slowly masturbate with the other so that I'm not shaking the bed or anything. I got the bright idea of googling this today and found a lot of women are offended by it, which surprised me. I imagine there's no one answer to this question. Every scenario is unique. One may be grateful that you are understanding enough not to be too demanding on her, whilst another may be insulted that you didn't think to share the experience.

These are just 2 possible outcomes, out of thousands of other potential permutations.

 

Obviously this is going to vary a lot from couple to couple, but I wouldn't feel guilty about it. Everyone has their own sexual needs and if your partner can't fulfill them for you regularly than masturbation is your best bet.

I would recommend talking to your wife about this though, communication is always best.

I'm sure the OP is not the first person that ever masturbated next to a sleeping spouse. Nor will he be the last. I have done this in the past and do not think if it as unusual. In fact I did it this morning.
