Well i guess it depends on how you look at it. If you are doing it right , it wont be "dry" but just like if you are using toys to masturbate. Some might consider it as masturbating. Although you are using something to get off.

My first reaction is yes, that would be masturbation because the critical feature of masturbation, as opposed to two person sex, is that you are stimulating yourself without the aid of anyone else.
