It's now over 100 dead and 4,000 injured, and rising. And the official report is that a welding accident set off fireworks which were stored nearby (fireworks stored near ammonium nitrate!) which in turn detonated the ammonium nitrate. The port of Lebanon is in ruins, it will take months to clear out, let alone rebuild, all due to an amazing lack of common sense.

I'd guess that if the typical dock/port workers were on site at the time, it was a gripe with Hezbollah. If more than half the typical shift at the port was out sick, Hezbollah had a gripe with Beirut.
