I saw this reported earlier. Fireworks warehouse, but massive explosion... Seems contradictory in my mind somehow. I guess I think of small fireworks...
@Mallyboppa Much confusion reigns about this subject. Some say fireworks, plus fertilizer. Just heard a Lebanese General say it was ammunition also... one way or another they sure fucked up and traumatized an already totally downtrodden people.
Small arms explosions /bullets on fire? Seems like this place was manufacturing munitions and their storage keg exploded. humpf.. https://twitter.com/stillgray/statu...3thHeIkR1RTQDrUjSyJP6YwDttggM50wcrbClwgMOGfdA
Rockets Baghdad Iraq just a few minutes ago. Probably unrelated.. https://twitter.com/i/status/1290794548957007872
Don't see where it looks anything like a nuke mushroom, more like the plume that lighting stricken dry spruce makes around here.
“It is unacceptable that a shipment of ammonium nitrate estimated at 2,750 tons has been present for six years in a warehouse without taking preventive measures that endanger the safety of citizens,” Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab said. Unacceptable? How about mind-boggling, outrageous, record-breaking stupidity. Especially considering it was stored in a populated area.
In the Oklahoma City bombing, Timothy McVeigh used about 3 tons of ammonium nitrate. Compare that to 2,750 tons.
Don't believe deranged lunatics who spread conspiracy theories, especially if they go by the initials DT
