    landlord let them in

then his lawyer warns him to change the story to avoid charges under landlord/tenant laws ;)

then he goes back to stating they did have permission because he knows its all recorded somehwere

    yep

the fbi already gave a statement that the apartment had been released to the owner (still doesnt give him permission to let himself or anyone else in imo )..im pretty sure he broke landlord laws on that one

When your leasee is deceased, I guess the contract is over.

You can highlight it and read it.

I guess he didn't feel like he owed the couple's family anything.

I'm sure they'd like the photos and the baby things will be needed.

That's what I was thinking. It seems to me if there is no living tenant, there are no applicable landlord/leasee laws.

lease aggreement transfers to the executor (in california at least)

think about it....anyone who dies whether they be a terrorist or not does not immediately give up all their property and personal possessions for a landlord to take or allow public access to

that landlord will be crucified by the family's law team

The executor thing would apply when someone is buying property. I bet it would only apply if the rental agreement is worded to indicate such.

I've never thought reporters made any big amount of money but I bet that landlord made some money off of them that night.

I haven't spent a lot of time reading about this but it seems fairly unusual to me that the FBI handled the apartment the way they seemed to have.

So....we don't know enough to even say what type of attack this was but.....we're searching their apartment for clues....since we don't know anything about them. The next day....Ok, we have everything we need, go ahead and turn the apartment over to someone who will let the whole world in to snoop around.

Did it occur to anyone that maybe they still don't know everything and now the apartment and everything else left in it is tainted? How often does this happen even in a small-town case? I bet it almost never happens. Mass murder and the press is rummaging through the suspects personal property a day or two later? No fucking way. I don't think that sounds very normal to me.

There’s simply no way to stop these types of attacks; even if we deport every Muslim in the US, ISIS will still have its share of sympathizers in the West committed to acts of violence.

This is fucked up and with every asshole in America loaded for bear; and yes I completely support the 2nd amendment right to bear arms, where is all this leading?

I was talking to hubby about the same thing last night. I really feel like it's too late to stop this. It's bad.
